Jeff Teague played against the best of the best during his 12 years in the NBA but one player did more damage than others, according to him.
Speaking on the “Club 520” podcast, per ClutchPoints, Teague said that De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings ended his career.
“He [is] too damn fast. Fast as s–t,” Teague said.
He added, “That’s the first time I said, you know, I think I want to come off the bench… I think you could probably start Tyus Jones if you want to.”
“[De’Aaron Fox] end my career, man. He [is] too damn fast. Fast as sh*t… That’s the first time I said, you know, I think I want to come off the bench… I think you could probably start Tyus Jones if you want to.”

There aren’t many players like Fox, who has become the dominant face of the Kings over the last several years.
The 26-year-old guard has made a name for himself as one of the fastest and most unpredictable stars in the league.
His 2023-24 average of 26.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists are impressive on their own but they are even more spectacular because of how he plays.
He is particularly effective in the fourth quarter of games when he heats up and becomes one of the best clutch players in the association.
Teague was able to see those clutch abilities firsthand during his games against Fox.
At times, the Kings star looks impossible to slow down.
He can make his way through the paint to the basket or he can shoot incredibly well from the perimeter.
It doesn’t matter where he is positioned because Fox always finds a path to points.
Teague isn’t the only player afraid of Fox.
There are many NBA stars who have faced the unstoppable power of the Kings’ biggest star.
