The New England Patriots don’t have that much talent at wide receiver.
That’s why those who actually made the roster may want to tread lightly and watch their words when they’re on social media, as they definitely cannot afford to miss some playing time.
Considering that, head coach Jerod Mayo wasn’t so thrilled to find out that rookie wide receiver Javon Baker made the rounds for a rant after getting a traffic ticket.
Mayo made it loud and clear that the team handled the matter internally and that Baker did not represent the views of the organization (via Patriots on CLNS Media).

Baker was livid in an Instagram Live video when he got a ticket while dropping someone off at the airport.

Baker complained about the officer and made it loud and clear that he wasn’t going to just sit around quietly.
At the end of the day, this is an everyday kind of situation, and it shouldn’t be that big of a fuss.
No one is above the law, not even professional football players, let alone a fourth-round rookie.
Baker had five receptions for 56 yards in the preseason, and he’ll look to carve out a larger role as his rookie season goes by.
