The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a tightly-contested loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

It was a great game between two of the top teams in the NFC.

It also served as a litmus test for the Cowboys to see how they stacked up with the best team in the league.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had an outstanding game as he threw for 374 yards and three touchdowns.

His play gave Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones a lot of confidence in the team

Even after the loss, Jones feels confident about the Cowboys’ ceiling this year.

According to Jon Machota, Jones said: “If Dak can have those kinds of games, we can go where we want to be this year.”

Prescott has been playing his best football of the year over the past three weeks.

During that stretch, he has thrown for eight touchdowns and just one interception.

In addition to an impressive touchdown-interception ratio, Prescott is completing passes at a career-high rate.

He’s currently completing 70.2% of his passes this year, which is good enough for third-best in football.

If he continues at this rate, Prescott could finish with a 70%+ completion percentage for the first time in his career.

Dallas has a record of 5-3 and some very winnable games coming up.

Since their run game has been nonexistent this year, the Cowboys will continue to rely on Prescott.

No matter how Prescott and the Cowboys play during the regular season, they will always be judged on their playoff performance.

If he can keep playing at a high level, however, this could be the year that Prescott proves his doubters wrong and finally takes the Cowboys on a deep playoff run.
