The situation with Brandon Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers has gotten out of hand.
The start of the regular season is just around the corner.
Fortunately for the fans, every team involved, and the rest of the league, it seems like we may finally have an ending to this soap opera.
Niners legend Jerry Rice took to Instagram to post a rather interesting tweet.
As shown by Steelers Depot on Twitter, he made it seem as if Wednesday was the deadline day to make a decision about whether he’d stay or leave.
“I guess we will all find out tomorrow GOATS! Will he stay or leave!” Rice posted.

Aiyuk is a very good player who would make every single team in the league better.
That being said, the market speaks volumes, and the fact of the matter is that A: the Niners are asking too much for him, and B: he’s also making some demands that are hard to please.
Aiyuk wants to both play for a contending team and get a lot of money, all while also being a primary focus on offense.
Needless to say, it’s not easy to find someone who could meet all those conditions.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were rumored to be the frontrunner to acquire him, yet reports state that they’re not willing to meet the Niners’ demands.
At the end of the day, Aiyuk and the Niners might find themselves stuck with each other.
