The New York Jets continue to make headlines throughout the NFL offseason.
After adding Aaron Rodgers, the crown jewel of quarterbacks, the Jets have also made moves to support him.
One such move was recently signing Dalvin Cook to a one-year contract.
Cook was initially believed to be a fill-in for Breece Hall, whose return to play was questioned for the 2023 season.
However, as Adam Schefter has reported, Hall has been activated from the PUP list and will work to be ready for Week 1.
Jets are activating RB Breece Hall off the Physically Unable to Perform List today, as @ZackBlatt reported. Hall is added today, Dalvin Cook on Monday.
Hall now will ramp up with the hopes of being ready for the week 1 Monday night matchup vs Buffalo.

As Schefter indicates, Hall is slated to work diligently to return to an NFL pace of play, hoping to make his debut against the Buffalo Bills.
Many project the Jets to have an improved season in 2023, largely due to the addition of Rodgers.
Adding Hall into the fold can only help their situation, as he and Cook will look to be a two-headed monster in the backfield.
Having Cook as the Robin to Hall’s Batman will ensure Hall has plenty of time to rest, taking breaks during games when needed.
The NFL season is grueling, and it can take an extreme toll on players’ bodies.
Given that Hall is still recovering, it remains to be seen how his on-field performance will be.
During the first seven games of the 2022 season, Hall racked up 463 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
His average of 5.8 yards per carry was highly acclaimed.
If he’s able to do that for the entire 2023 campaign, the Jets’ offense will be that much better moving forward.
