During training camp, it is not a surprise to see teams changing up the roster a bit by signing undrafted players or players from different leagues such as the XFL.

The New York Jets are one of those teams that are continuing to bring in new faces for training camp.

According to insider Aaron Wilson, the team recently worked out XFL wide receiver Justin Hall.

Hall was a standout with the Houston Roughnecks last season as he finished third in the league in receiving with 603 yards on 56 receptions.

An underrated part of his game that he showed in Houston is his punt return skills (148 punt return yards last season; 4th in the league).

The former Ball State star is looking to make an impact in the NFL and if given an opportunity with Gang Green, he might be able to do so.

However, the Jets wide receiver core is fairly deep.

Star wide receiver Garrett Wilson has recorded 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons and free agent signee Mike Williams is one of the best big-play threats in the game.

Veteran Allen Lazard and rookie Malachi Corley are also looking to provide MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers with more reliable options.

If Hall was to get signed, he could have a puncher’s chance at making the final roster if the Jets were to decide to keep six or seven wide receivers on that final roster.

For now, he will have to wait to see if the team is willing to take a chance on him.
