The Davante Adams-to-the-Jets talk has been a big conversation piece this offseason.

With the All-Pro wide receiver having a lot of individual success out in Las Vegas, he is proving that he is still one of the best at his position.

But if the Raiders start to lose games again this season, which is very possible, he might want out.

This is why Jets insider Connor Hughes believes he could be a Jet right away if the Raiders decide to trade him.

“The minute that the Raiders are willing to trade him, I believe that he will be a Jet,” Hughes recently said on Jets Afterburners.

This could be a massive development as the season starts to move along.

The Jets are trying to win the Super Bowl right now while the Raiders are struggling to win more games than they lose.

If there is an opportunity for Adams to reunite with his old quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, it might be this season.

When there is a quarterback competition going on in the preseason, you know that the future of the team is up in the air.

Now, the Raiders are deciding to roll with Gardner Minshew over Aidan O’Connell, but let’s not confuse either with Rodgers.

While playing together for eight seasons on the Packers, Rodgers won three MVPs while Adams made five Pro Bowls.

If the Jets are willing to do whatever it takes to win a Super Bowl, trading for Adams, if he is made available later on in the season, could be a home run move from Jets GM Joe Douglas.
