HBO’s Hard Knocks is undoubtedly one of the most popular shows about the NFL, with an in-depth look behind the scenes of an NFL training camp.
Although fans of the league love the show, teams forced to be on the show aren’t all that crazy about it and regularly want not to be featured on the show.
As a result of teams not wanting to be on the show, the league has come up with some strict requirements to be eligible, and this year only four teams fit the bill: New York Jets, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints and Washington Commanders.
With the Jets arguably the most intriguing team of the four, especially if they acquire superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, New York may ultimately get the nod.
However, that isn’t sitting well with Pro Bowl cornerback Justin Hardee Sr., who took to Twitter to say the team doesn’t need the distraction the show can bring.
Man y’all can give hard knocks to another team man we tryna focus and win that’s a distraction https://t.co/I3UKllwL7D

Many teams and players in the league likely sympathize with Hardee, as the show is a distraction that most don’t want to deal with and can derail what could’ve been a promising season.
Of the four teams in contention, the Jets are the only potential title contender, which is all the more reason for them not to want to be showcased during their training camp.
Even though the team and players might not want the added distraction, the Jets’ current situation is extremely compelling and will make for the kind of entertainment that HBO is looking for, with Rodgers potentially in the fold.
