The NFL Draft is just around the corner, and this is one of the most QB-heavy classes we’ve seen in quite a while.

The top three seem all set already, with Caleb Williams sitting on top, and Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye going toe-to-toe to go No. 2 and No. 3.

However, the list doesn’t stop there.

Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr., and J.J. McCarthy are also in the mix to go in the first round.

Unsurprisingly, new Los Angeles Chargers head coach believes McCarthy stands in a tier of his own.

Talking at the AFC coaches breakfast, Harbaugh gave his former quarterback the nod, stating that he’s the best quarterback in this class, and adding that ‘a killer comes out’ when he’s facing adversity (Via Jeremy Fowler).

Harbaugh coached McCarthy in Michigan, and they won a National Championship together.

Scouts weren’t so high on him at first, but he’s climbing the ladder in most mock drafts.

Scouts were quite impressed with his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine and his pro day, and they seem to like him more and more after digging deep into his tape.

Of course, he’s also a bit of a polarizing prospect at this point, as some believe he’s not ready to be thrown into the fire right away.

Whatever the case, he now seems like a lock to go in the first round, and some think he could even sneak into the top 10.

Whether he’s going to prove his coach right or not, remains to be seen.
