Next summer’s Olympic Games will take place in Paris, and it is expected that Team USA will have a better showing there than it did in this year’s FIBA World Cup, where it finished in fourth place and left without a medal of any kind.

A number of prominent NBA stars and superstars led by LeBron James are reportedly ready to commit to playing for Team USA next summer in an attempt to restore its rightful place on top of the world in terms of international competition.

One of those stars who has been summoned to represent the country is the Miami Heat‘s Jimmy Butler, and while visiting London this week, he had an interesting request — he wants to know where he could play dominoes there, via ClutchPoints.

“My fellow Londoners, Londonmates, where do y’all play dominoes at out here? I’m trying to play dominoes all day every day because I’m yet to whip that tail here.”

Butler transformed the Heat from a lottery team to a contender when he arrived there four years ago, and with him, they have reached the NBA Finals twice.

Now, he seems to be enjoying what is left of his summer break abroad.

He is not only one of the game’s better midrange shooters and one-on-one players, but he is also arguably the sport’s most dangerous player come crunch time.

Butler was up to his old tricks during the first round of the 2023 playoffs versus the heavily favored Milwaukee Bucks, as he scored 56 points in Game 4 and 42 points in Game 5 to close out the series.

At age 34 (his birthday was on September 14), some may prefer that he rest up following next season in a concession to the wear and tear he has accumulated, but he would be an asset to Team USA if he decides to play in Paris.
