Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowl quarterback Joe Burrow is one of the best players at his position in the league.
He has the ability to put his team on his shoulders and take Cincinnati all the way to a Super Bowl.
However, recurring injuries have slowed the consistency and the process for the former Heisman winner and national champion.
While in a recent appearance on The Pivot, Burrow talked about the effect that his injuries have had on his career.
“It’s hard…When it’s taken from you, it’s always a difficult thing to go through,” Burrow told former NFL players Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder.
“I know what it is when I’m out there…I know what I can do when I’m out there.”
Not too many players better than Joe Burrow when healthy and on the field- National Champion to 2 AFC championships, Pro Bowler…but injury has kept the @Bengals QB from reaching his fullest… pic.twitter.com/PYUKDbtEAD

When you have high hopes entering a season and those hopes get dashed due to a significant injury, it is tough for everyone involved.
The player is obviously the most important piece of the puzzle, but the team and city can feel crushed in the process too.
For Cincinnati, with a healthy Burrow, they can be one of the best teams in the NFL.
When the former LSU Tiger has played at least 16 games in a season, the Bengals have made at least the AFC Championship Game.
They of course made the Super Bowl back in the 2021 season and came to within a fourth quarter of winning it.
Last season, Burrow dealt with calf and wrist injuries with the latter eventually ending his season after 10 games.
But now, No. 9 is healthy and ready to roll with the sky possibly being the limit for him and his team in the AFC.
