After getting the best of Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks for the first three games of the NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics are one win away from winning an NBA-record 18th championship, breaking the tie with the arch-rival Los Angeles Lakers.

With no team in NBA history ever coming back from a 0-3 deficit, the Mavericks are obviously in trouble and may see it all come to an end on Friday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Even though the Celtics have forced the Mavericks into a corner ahead of Friday’s game, Doncic and company will likely come out with a sense of urgency and could be incredibly tough to beat on their home floor, as no team wants to get swept in the Finals, especially in front of their fans.

With the Mavericks in desperation mode and more than likely playing at a high level on Friday night to avoid elimination, Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla had a four-word message for his team going into what will almost certainly be a tough game in Dallas, via Jay King of The Athletic.

“Execution. Details. Mindset. Focus,” Mazzulla said.

Joe Mazzulla didn’t seem to want to talk much about anything beyond what it will take to win Game 4: “Execution. Details. Mindset. Focus.”

Even though the Mavericks will be playing with a heightened sense of urgency tonight, they will need their superstars to perform to the best of their ability, with Doncic and Kyrie Irving needing to play near-perfect basketball.

Although the Celtics have the advantage, the Mavericks have an opportunity to extend the series and avoid embarrassment, which makes them a very dangerous team on Friday night.
