The Philadelphia 76ers have built their entire project around Joel Embiid, and it’s hard to blame them for that.
Even though he didn’t get into basketball until he was a teenager, it was more than clear that the game just came naturally to him.
His talents were once again on full display during practice with Team USA, knocking down a left-handed bank shot (Via NBA).

Embiid has never handled himself all that seriously, and he brings the light-hearted humor and comical relief all teams need.
Then again, he must take his game to the next level next season.
It’s not about putting up big numbers anymore; he must get past the second round of the playoffs once and for all.
The Sixers added Paul George and several reinforcements in free agency and he has the best tactician and coach he’s had in his career, so there’s no more room for excuses.
We know how unique of a talent he is and how special he is, and he’s given every single big man in the league a run for their money when he’s been healthy.
However, being available is also a big part of the job, and that should be his No. 1 focus going forward, especially knowing that George has also struggled with injuries over the most recent stretch of his career.
Hopefully, he’ll finally be able to stay healthy for when it matters the most, as the game is always better when he’s out there having fun and doing his thing.
