Joel Embiid’s Wedding Had One Notable Absence

One of the most talked about players this NBA offseason has been James Harden.

He is looking for a way out of Philadelphia despite the 76ers hoping to bring him back.

It appears that the relationship between Harden and the Sixers has been tarnished.

That was once again prevalent at Joel Embiid’s wedding this weekend.

According to NBA Central, there was a picture posted showing Embiid with his teammates.

But Harden was not in attendance.

You would have to assume that Harden was invited to the wedding but chose not to attend.

This is not a great sign for the relationship between Harden and his 76ers teammates.

Embiid has made it clear he would welcome Harden back and wants to pursue a championship with him.

Many reports have stated that Harden wants to play for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Also, the Clippers have shown interest in Harden.

But the trade package they are offering is nowhere near what the Sixers want in return.

All eyes will be on the Sixers’ front office to see what they do this summer.

Philadelphia continues to underwhelm each postseason.

They enter with NBA Finals expectations but can not even make the conference finals.

Harden certainly deserves part of the blame for the team’s shortcomings this past year.

But he can still take over a game on any given night.

If the Sixers can not convince Harden to stay they need to get a strong package back for him.

Embiid needs a co-star, unfortunately, it looks like not many are available.
