John Harbaugh Announces Special Guest For Chiefs Game

John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens are headed to the AFC championship game for the first time since 2012, where they’ll face the Kansas City Chiefs in a clash of top-level quarterbacks between Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes.

The Ravens go into this game as the AFC’s No. 1 seed, but anything can happen when you’re facing Mahomes and Andy Reid on the other side.

Baltimore will have some extra support from a championship-winner, though, as Harbaugh announced that his brother, Jim, will be in attendance after he led Michigan to the College Football Playoff championship and recently became the next head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers (via The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec.”

Harbaugh said his brother, Jim, will be in attendance Sunday.

Jim Harbaugh has been something of a positive omen for the Ravens after he also attended Baltimore’s huge divisional round win over the Houston Texans this past week.

Soon, though, the Harbaugh brothers will once again become main adversaries as they will both coach AFC teams that will play each other in 2024.

The Ravens will need all the help they can get against the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

Despite a statistically-down season, Kansas City returns to the conference championship game for a sixth consecutive time and the Chiefs are looking to make their fourth Super Bowl appearance since 2018.

Harbaugh, Jackson, and the stout Ravens defense are formidable opponents, though, after cruising to the top of the AFC over the second half of the year behind Jackson’s MVP-caliber season.

Everything will be on the line Sunday, though.
