After a rough negotiation process with the Baltimore Ravens brass, which at one point looked like it would result in Lamar Jackson’s being traded elsewhere, the superstar quarterback was able to sign a new deal and get back on the field happy and motivated to prove his worth to the team and the rest of the NFL.
Although sometimes players of Jackson’s caliber regress after signing a massive contract extension, the veteran quarterback did the complete opposite as he led arguably the best offense in the league to the AFC Championship Game and won his second NFL MVP award.
Jackson reminded everyone that he’s one of the elite quarterbacks in the game and still has a lot left to prove as he tries to win that elusive Super Bowl title.
Interestingly enough, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh took things to another level this weekend as he boldly stated that the “vision” moving forward is for Jackson to be the greatest quarterback ever to play the game via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
“The vision that we have together is that Lamar Jackson is going to become and be known and be recognized as the greatest quarterback ever to play in the history of the NFL,” Harbaugh said.
John Harbaugh gave a 2-minute, 43-second response when asked about the criticism of Lamar Jackson.

With former NFL superstar Tom Brady being arguably the greatest quarterback in league history and Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes having a decent chance to catch him, Jackson has a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to be in the same conversation as these two legends that seem to do nothing but win.
Fortunately for Jackson, the Ravens will be a Super Bowl title contender right out of the gate during the 2024 campaign and will have a great chance of winning it all this year if they can stay healthy and get over the hump in the NFL playoffs.
