While Johnny Manziel’s NFL career didn’t turn out as expected, he’s going to stay close to the game of football.

The former Texas A&M superstar has been very active this past year, speaking up about his mental health issues and his addiction, and he’s ready to get back on the horse.

According to a report by Brett McMurphy, he’s going to appear as an analyst on Action Network’s Big Bets on Campus podcast.

Manziel will join the Action Network as a college football analyst, giving his ‘Hail Mary Pick of the Week’ every Saturday morning during a live show that airs before the start of the slate.

Deemed ‘Johnny Football’ for his electric play at College Station, Manziel won the Heisman Trophy as a redshirt freshman.

His ability to extend plays with his feet and create something out of nothing turned him into the biggest sensation in all of college football.

He finished his Heisman campaign with 3,706 passing yards and 26 touchdowns while completing 68% of his passes, all while also rushing for 1,410 yards and a whopping 21 rushing touchdowns.

Unfortunately, he failed to find the same success in the NFL.

With the Cleveland Browns he struggled with substance abuse and was eventually released after what was once a promising career.

Now, it’s nice to see him getting his life back together and getting back on his feet.
