When Johnny Manziel entered the NFL, many believed he was about to set the league on fire.
He was one of the most electrifying athletes in the NCAA and won the Heisman Trophy in 2012.
However, his career in the NFL only lasted two seasons, largely to off-field issues.
Netflix has recently released a documentary about his life, where he dives into some of these problems.
In a small snippet shared via Dov Kleiman, it’s noted that Manziel didn’t watch a second of film.
Video: Manziel admitted he watched zero tape when he played.
Agent: “He’s gotta watch some tape..”
Browns GM: “His IPad hours is 0.00”
Johnny Manziel: “0”

The Cleveland Browns’ GM initially noted this in the documentary, and Manziel later confirmed it.
This documentary is the latest in what has been a notable run for Netflix.
Earlier this summer, they released ‘Quarterback’ which followed three QBs across the league: Patrick Mahomes, Marcus Mariota, and Kirk Cousins.
That docu-series quickly vaulted to the top of the charts, as did Manziel’s documentary.
He found himself in the news quite often during his playing days, and many were left wondering why his antics played out in this manner.
The documentary also reveals that Manziel has struggled with mental health, and he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
The hope from this documentary is that fans aren’t so judgmental about their favorite players.
Manziel’s story illustrates that you never truly know what other people are going through, even if they are among the nation’s most elite athletes.
