There were plenty of rumors and reports about what the Arizona Cardinals could’ve done with their No. 4 pick.
Some thought they could’ve traded down to get a massive haul for that selection, including, potentially, a quarterback.
At the end of the day, however, they did what most teams in their position would’ve done, which was taking the generational prospect and just getting things over with.
There has been plenty of talk about Marvin Harrison Jr., his demeanor, the fact that he didn’t work out at the Scouting Combine or even his own Pro Day, and his legal turmoil with Fanatics.
However, as expected, things have been just fine when he’s been on the field, and his teammates and bosses have been in awe of his game.
According to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk, HC Jonathan Gannon has been quite satisfied with his stellar rookie, going as far as to say that he’s met and exceeded all of his expectations thus far:
“My expectation for him, he meets and exceeds it thus far,” Gannon said, via the team’s website.

Harrison Jr. comes of NFL lineage, being the son of NFL legend Marvin Harrison.
He dominated at Ohio State and proved to be one of the most polished and promising wide receiver prospects we’ve ever seen, and the Cardinals know a thing or two about having a legendary receiver leading the way.
Kyler Murray now has a prime weapon to work with, and with the clock ticking on him, don’t be shocked if he turns to him early and often in his rookie campaign.
