After an epic run to the NFL playoffs during the second half of the 2023 campaign, the Green Bay Packers headed into the postseason as arguably the hottest team in the league and ready to pull off some upsets in hopes of reaching the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Unfortunately for Green Bay, the eventual NFC champion San Francisco 49ers proved to be too much to handle in the second round of the playoffs, even though Jordan Love and company were able to beat the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys with relative ease in the first round at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The upstart Packers were hoping to carry the momentum from the biggest upset of the playoffs into their matchup with the 49ers in the Bay Area at Levi’s Stadium, but despite putting up a valiant effort on the road, it just wasn’t meant to be.
Love recently reflected on losing that game to the 49ers and how he was able to move on from the loss with Kay Adams on Up & Adams.
“I think the offseason helped, and ending a season like that, you were able to get away from ball,” Love said. “You watch the Super Bowl, and then you are kind of done with the year.”

Fortunately for Love, the offseason was very good to him as many have been dubbing him one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL with the same kind of ascension as CJ Stroud during the 2023 campaign.
After a breakout year, Love signed a lucrative long-term quarterback contract, making him one of the highest-paid players at his position in the NFL.
