The Green Bay Packers have found their quarterback for the future, and as such, they must pay up to keep him.
They had plenty of faith in Jordan Love and signed him to a contract extension even before he got the nod as the starter.
However, now that he’s had one very good year under his belt, it seems like his camp is looking to maximize his value.
That’s why he’s not going to be around until he gets his money.
According to a report by Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Utah State product and his agents have informed GM Brian Gutekunst that he won’t show up to practice until he gets a deal done.

Love is expected to fetch a very lucrative contract.
Still, it seems like things are getting out of hand in the National Football League.
We’re seeing more and more players refuse to do their job until they get their way, and that’s despite the fact that they’re literally making millions of dollars to play.
Love has enough merits to be in the conversation for a big contract extension, and he should definitely get one, but he’s only been a starter for one year.
Player empowerment has been great in some ways, and they should always have a say in their future and maximize their value while they can, especially those who put their bodies on the line on every single play.
Even so, it seems like this situation is getting out of hand.
