The Jordan Poole era with the Golden State Warriors is officially over.
New GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. stated that he wanted to keep him around for the next four years at least just hours before trading him to the Washington Wizards.
That’s just another example of how cold the NBA business usually is, and Poole’s social media activity also confirmed it.
Apparently, the sharpshooting guard wasted no time unfollowing Draymond Green on Instagram, as several fan accounts pointed out, including @GoIdenState.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as Green and Poole starred in a now-infamous incident last offseason, with the young guard taunting Green and then getting sucker-punched in the face.
That incident eventually doomed the Warriors’ season.
Green didn’t speak up as early and often as he usually did, as he knew he had messed up and lost some respect in the locker room.
Poole, on the other hand, kept showing an attitude and snubbing the veterans and even the coach, handling himself like a superstar right after signing that big contract.
Truth be told, Poole might as well lead the league in scoring in D.C. now, all while shooting roughly 40% from the floor en route to 25-30 wins a season.
The Warriors, on the other hand, got rid of his massive contract to get some more flexibility for the future, all while removing a guy who clearly thought he deserved a bigger role.
