The Golden State Warriors have had a weird season.

After winning the NBA championship last year, the Warriors were once again favorites heading into this season.

But, their inability to win road games has been a major problem.

On the season the Warriors have a road record of 9-30.

That is the fourth worst in the NBA and something we have not seen from Golden State in years past.

Luckily for the Warriors, they have been elite at home.

Their 33-8 home record is why they are still in playoff position in the Western Conference.

Not many Warriors players can answer the question as to why they play so poorly on the road.

But, with the playoffs right around the corner, they will need to figure it out.

Warriors guard Jordan Poole was asked why the team struggles so much on the road.

This video from Warriors on NBCS says it all.

In the past, Golden State has been known as the “Road Warriors” but they have been anything but that this season.

Luckily for the Warriors, they have been different beasts in the playoffs.

They own a crazy record for the most consecutive playoff series with a road win.

According to Warriors PR, it has been 27 consecutive series.

The Warriors have now won a road playoff game in 27 consecutive playoff series, extending an NBA record. The streak dates back to the 2013 NBA Playoffs and coincides with the postseason tenures of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green & Klay Thompson.

Golden State hopes they can keep that streak alive this year.

If so, they have as good a chance as anyone to win the NBA title.
