Now that Jordan Poole isn’t a part of the Golden State Warriors anymore, all these reports about his attitude and the way he handled himself only make it more evident that not many people liked him on his former team.
Most people made it seem like it was his altercation with Draymond Green that led to his trade, but the latest reports cite that he had gotten into several veterans’ faces, and even Steve Kerr seemingly took a shot at him at the end of the season.
It’s evident that he was never able to get over Draymond punching him in the face, and now that he doesn’t have to deal with him anymore, he doesn’t even want to talk about it.
That was evident when he was asked whether he had heard from Draymond recently after being introduced by the Washington Wizards and he decided to ignore the question, obviously leading to plenty of fan backlash, mockery, and speculation.

Draymond Green has a reputation for being a hard-nosed kind of guy, but he’s also widely respected as a leader with a strong voice within the locker room.
The fact that he punched Poole will always be a stain on his résumé, and things should’ve never gotten that far.
He should’ve known better, being the veteran and leader he was.
Then again, the fact that Poole was the one gift-wrapped and shipped away also speaks volumes as to how he handled himself in that locker room, and that’s something to consider when looking at the Wizards’ roster for next season.
