Sometimes, NFL teams and players are just a match made in heaven.
Either because of the system, the coaching staff, or just because of the culture of the city, they’re almost a perfect match.
Notably, that was the case with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
Talking to former NFL star Chris Long for his podcast, Allen admitted that he was very excited and relieved about getting to play in Buffalo.

He admitted that, being born and raised in ‘the middle of nowhere’ and then playing in Wyoming, he was afraid about getting to play for a team in a big city.
He stated that he’s used to being in small groups and hates traffic, and the traffic in Buffalo usually adds just a minute or two to his usual commute.
Not many people were as high on Allen as the Bills were when they took him.
The Bills took him with the No. 7 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, even though he was still very raw.
Fast forward to today, and Allen is now considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the game and a perennial MVP candidate.
Moreover, he’s become the standard for big, tall quarterbacks with strong arms and a knack for making plays with their legs every now and then, with guys like Will Levis and Drake Maye drawing comparisons to him.
Judging by the way he’s adapted to the city, it seems like Allen is just never going to leave Buffalo.
Hopefully, he’ll also give them a championship.
