The Buffalo Bills absolutely needed to find more help at the wide receiver position this offseason.

This is the case because they traded away All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans earlier this offseason.

Additionally, they chose not to re-sign veteran receiver Gabe Davis, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent.

To combat these losses, one of the moves Buffalo made this year was drafting Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Bills star quarterback Josh Allen recently chatted with insider Doug Farrar of USA TODAY about what he thinks of Coleman so far.

“I think my first impressions are that he loves football. And that’s the No. 1 thing. Guys who love football and do things the right way typically play a long time in this league,” Allen said.

Coleman. spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Michigan State, where he was an All-Big Ten performer in 2022 after recording nearly 800 yards and 7 touchdowns for the Spartans.

After transferring in 2023 to play at Florida State, he caught 50+ passes for the second consecutive year and added in 11 touchdown catches.

The 6-3, 215-pound pass-catcher brings good size and ability to the offense in Buffalo.

Not only did the Bills draft him, but they signed multiple free agent wide receivers.

They recently added two-time Super Bowl champion receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, along with veterans Curtis Samuel, Chase Claypool, and Mack Hollins.

It will be a new group of pass-catchers that will try to help Josh Allen get back to making a deep playoff run.
