The Buffalo Bills offense will look quite different during the 2024 NFL season as they no longer have pieces like Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.
The Bills traded Diggs to the Houston Texans, while they let Davis walk in free agency to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, Buffalo still has Josh Allen under center and he will get a chance to show what he can do with a perceived watered-down receiving corps.
The organization isn’t completely devoid of wideout talent as they took a chance on Florida State star Keon Coleman at the top of the second round in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Arguably the most athletic player at the position, Coleman has already impressed the Bills and his teammates with his playmaking ability.
Allen discussed what makes Coleman special and specifically highlighted his body control via Green Light with Chris Long.
“I think he has the best body control that I’ve seen,” Allen said.

Allen starts off the video by comparing Coleman to receivers like Michael Thomas and Dez Bryant because of his size, but goes on to note his basketball background may help with the body control.
Coleman is simply able to make grabs that other players can’t and that’s a testament to his physical gifts and knack for being in the right place at the right time.
Although he could use more work as a route runner, Coleman has all the talent in the world to become an impact player in the league and he’ll have every opportunity to do so with Allen as his quarterback.
