The New York Knicks are building something special.
After several years of frustrating performances and early playoff exits, the Knicks started to show what they are capable of in the 2023-2024 season.
They made it to the Eastern Conference semifinals, pushing the series to seven games but ultimately losing to the Indiana Pacers.
Had it not been for a few key injuries on their roster, that series could have gone a lot differently, and the rest of the postseason might have changed completely.
The Knicks should remain competitive in the East for the foreseeable future, as they have several young, talented players who are excited to be members of this organization.
Josh Hart, one of their key players, went so far as to bash another team when talking about the success of the Knicks.
As Hart said on the Roommates Show, “I don’t think you’ll ever hear someone say they were excited to be traded to New Orleans.”

Hart played on the Pelicans for three years, as he was traded there in the Anthony Davis deal from the Lakers.
In his mind, the Pelicans weren’t exactly a desirable destination, and he would have much rather stayed with the Lakers or joined another team.
While this might have been the case back then, similar to the Knicks, the Pelicans are starting to get better as an organization.
Zion Williamson has reportedly lost a significant amount of weight in the offseason, and with the other rising players on the roster, they might just find the keys to success.
