The 2023 NFL season went exceptionally well for the Detroit Lions.
After years of mediocrity and disappointment, the Lions finally found the traction they were looking for, advancing all the way to the NFC Championship.
They might have lost the conference title game, but the fact that they got there is a positive step in the right direction for this organization.
The Lions already have their sights set on the 2024 season, hoping they can build up the necessary pieces to help them compete again.
While they have been hard at work trying to acquire new options for their roster, they have also needed to say goodbye to a few players during the offseason.
One such casualty was Josh Reynolds, who just signed a two-year deal with the Denver Broncos.
After agreeing to terms with a new team, Reynolds posted one final sentiment about his former team on Instagram, as shared on Twitter via Lions Royalty.
“To all the Lions fans,” he wrote. “Thank you for all the support over the past 2 and a half yrs. It’s been an unreal experience and support,” Reynolds wrote.

While Reynolds is excited to join the Broncos to see what he can do on a new team, leaving any organization is a difficult decision.
The Lions took him in after his time with the Los Angeles Rams, and while he wasn’t necessarily the team’s WR1, he got plenty of chances to showcase his skill-set.
His playing time over the past few years likely was the tipping point for him to join the Broncos.
The team saw something in him, and whether it was a better fit for him and his family or if it was a pure money move, Reynolds is taking his talents to new heights in Colorado.
