Before the NFL season, both small and big-time analysts typically put together their predictions.

This is an opportunity for them to create “receipts,” or proof to show their audience in case their prediction is correct.

Before the season-opener between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, the crew on FS1’s “Speak” dove into their projections.

In this segment, Joy Taylor gave her case for the Philadelphia Eagles to take home the title.

She was one of two analysts on this show to pick the Eagles, the other being former player LeSean McCoy.

The others picked the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets as their favorites to win the Lombardi Trophy.

Throughout the offseason, the jury has been out on the Eagles.

They made it to the Super Bowl last season where they ultimately lost to the Chiefs.

While this was an impressive accomplishment, many around the league believe the Eagles’ lost defensive players are a potential downfall for their overall production.

Taylor doesn’t expect a downturn in production, especially given the quality of the Eagles’ offense.

Jalen Hurts enters the season with new motivation given his massive contract extension, and they haven’t lost any of their top receivers.

While they did lose some members of their defense, they were replaced by veterans, and the organization also drafted two highly-touted defensive prospects.

Can the Eagles make it back to the Super Bowl as Taylor projects?

Or, will another NFC team break through, supplanting the Eagles as the head of the conference?
