The New York Jets fanbase has experienced new life ahead of the 2023 season, and Aaron Rodgers appears to be a large part of that.
Rodgers left the Green Bay Packers on a sour note, and many wondered if he would have a similar effect in New York.
However, not only has he seemed more energized than ever before, but he recently took a $35 million pay cut.
After news of Rodgers’ pay cut broke, in a segment of ‘Speak’ on FS1, Joy Taylor discussed the current public opinion of Rodgers.
In Green Bay, he was tolerated; with the Jets, he’s being celebrated,” Taylor said.

Whether it’s a massive cultural shift, or if Rodgers genuinely believes that the Jets have the keys to success, he seems like a changed man.
Almost every report out of the Jets camp has been positive towards Rodgers.
In previous years, Rodgers was noted to not pick up a football until mandatory team activities, taking a massive offseason break.
This hasn’t been the case with the Jets, as Rodgers has been spotted with his new receivers throughout the offseason.
Despite having the largest current playoff drought in the league, there is a certain buzz around this Jets roster that hasn’t been felt for a long time.
There is a growing belief that, if healthy, Rodgers can not only help propel this team to a playoff berth but also, a deep playoff run.
While the Jets have their work cut out for them, if Rodgers performs anywhere close to his MVP-caliber seasons, the sky is the limit.
