Jalen Hurts is one year removed from being an MVP candidate for the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was one of the best quarterbacks in the league last season, helping lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance.
He finished the season with 22 touchdown passes while throwing just six interceptions.
In seven games in 2023, Hurts has thrown for nine touchdown passes, but his eight interceptions are tied for the league lead.
After seeing these performances, Joy Taylor recently made a plea to Hurts in a segment of “Speak” on FS1.
“I am giving him a pass, but please stop doing it, Jalen,” Taylor begged.

Taylor’s plea likely echoes what a lot of Eagles fans are currently thinking.
While Hurts’ interceptions have not hurt the Eagles in the win/loss column, they could come back to bite him down the road.
If Hurts does not nip this problem, the Eagles could start losing games, especially to opponents with good defenses.
For instance, when Hurts threw three interceptions against the New York Jets, his team could not overcome that deficit, eventually losing the game.
Taylor expressed concern for Hurts and hopes that he can get significantly better on this mark moving forward.
The Eagles’ next three opponents are the Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, and Kansas City Chiefs.
All three of these teams have opportunistic defenses that will be hungry to capitalize on any mistakes from Hurts.
Can he get his interception problem under control for the back half of the season for the Eagles?
