The Boston Celtics have put together a juggernaut of a team.

Brad Stevens did an outstanding job of stacking this roster with the additions of Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis.

Jayson Tatum has drawn some mockery online in the sense that some fans think they don’t even need him to win, and that could be true to a degree.

When asked his thoughts on the Celtics’ proficient offense, Holiday credited their depth and the fact that anybody could go off on any given night (via SiriusXM NBA Radio).

“Any given night, anyone can go off.”

He’s right on point, as Jaylen Brown has been on a roll in the playoffs, but we’ve also seen big scoring outbursts by Derrick White, Holiday, and even Al Horford.

Also, it’s not like Tatum isn’t putting up big numbers.

If anything, him being there draws so much defensive attention, which is why everybody else is getting wide-open shots.

On top of that, Porzingis is back to full strength, and they could even afford to have him come off the bench.

The Celtics are a flawless team, at least on paper.

Of course, we’ve seen stacked teams fall short of their goals multiple times in the past, and this core does have a history of crumbling under pressure.

But with this kind of depth, even if your best player underperforms or his shot isn’t falling, you will always have multiple options and guys who could step up on any given night.
