Bat flips have become a staple of today’s style of play.

Granted, they’ve been around for quite some time, but have taken on a life of their own in recent years.

Now, whenever a player hits a home run, it’s almost a requirement for a hitter to flip his bat.

On Wednesday, Juan Soto hit a big home run at Citi Field against the New York Mets.

But after he hit it, the San Diego Padres star performed an epic bat flip.

On Twitter, MLB Cut4 posted a video of Soto’s bat flip and even gave it the “BatCast” treatment.

It’s safe to say that Soto’s bat flip was one of the best of the year so far.

He didn’t just flip it with the hand that was still on the bat.

Soto put the bat in his other hand and let it fly.

The bat spun out of his hand and then landed back on the field.

BatCast gave the flip rave reviews.

The toss was impressive, and the ball was absolutely crushed.

Baseball wouldn’t be as fun as it is without some epic bat flips, and Soto certainly has more than his fair share of those.

On Wednesday, he took it to another level and provided fans with perhaps the best bat flip of the year up to this point.
