The Cleveland Browns were one of the most resilient teams in 2023 as they overcame numerous injuries on both sides of the field to make the postseason.

Although they were embarrassed in the Wild Card Round by the Houston Texans, the Browns shouldn’t feel bad about the results given what it took for them to get there.

The 2024 NFL season could be very different for them as they’re set to have a healthy roster and could make some meaningful additions via free agency and the draft.

Cleveland’s front office and coaching staff have done a solid job building out the team and have them in position to be a playoff contender for years.

The rest of the world is taking notice and the league could be capitalizing on this by having them play internationally in Sao Paolo, Brazil as hinted by Peter King.

Juan Thornhill has seen the reports and clarified his thoughts on possibly playing in Brazil via his Twitter account.

“Brazil??? Possibly first game of the season… how do we feel about that?? That flight sound brutal,” Thornhill tweeted.

The rumor is that the Browns will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1, a marquee matchup between two star-studded teams that would surely draw the Brazilian fans in.

However, Thornhill’s concerns are valid as flying that far for the first game of the season will surely be a challenge for the teams as they try to acclimate.

The NFL is looking to expand its global presence, though, and Cleveland and Philadelphia will just have to find a way to make it work.
