The Kansas City Chiefs keep making moves.

While their wide receivers corps seems set, they’ve added a familiar face to the mix for some depth.

According to a report by NFL insider Jordan Schultz (via Ari Meirov), Andy Reid has brought JuJu Smith-Schuster back.

The former Pro Bowler is very familiar with their offense and the premises, as he even helped them win the Super Bowl two years ago.

Smith-Schustter was recently made available, as the New England Patriots released him after one season with them.

He began his career with a five-year stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers, signing with the Chiefs shortly after.

Under Reid’s command, he had the second-best season of his career, logging 78 receptions for 933 yards.

Needless to say, those days of wondering whether Smith-Schuster is a WR1-caliber player are long gone, and the answer has become pretty clear.

He shouldn’t be ahead of any of the projected starters in Kansas City, as they already have Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, Rashee Rice, and Xavier Worthy.

Then again, he could give the team some depth as a solid rotational piece, especially considering how injury-prone Brown has been throughout the course of his career.

The Chiefs want to win three consecutive Super Bowls, and they will spare no effort in getting that done.
