After Bill Belichick announced that he was moving on from the New England Patriots, fans wanted to know what was next for the legendary coach.
Belichick is one of the most successful coaches in NFL history, but for whatever reason, he didn’t end up getting another coaching gig in the offseason.
This has left him more time in his day, seemingly enough to appear on podcasts and shows should he be asked.
Julian Edelman, a former player of his, has been clamoring for Belichick to join his podcast.
“I swear if he does McAfee before he does my show, that would hurt me,” Edelman said.
Cue the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” music, because Belichick did end up joining the Pat McAfee Show, something that frustrated Edelman.

The Pat McAfee Show has grown into one of the biggest spectacles in sports media.
McAfee left the NFL to pursue other ventures, and while his first stint with Barstool Sports wasn’t what he thought it was, McAfee has come into his own.
He and his crew have created one of the most successful podcasts and shows in the United States, and it only continues to grow with it’s coverage on ESPN.
Edelman’s podcast is certainly popular, but it has a long way to get to the viewership that McAfee has.
Getting Belichick on his show would be a massive accomplishment and as a former player, it seems like these two have a relationship and rapport that would help secure a massive guest for Edelman.
