During the COVID-19 pandemic, people across the globe were in search of something to do while their world was stopped.

In came Wordle, a word game that quickly took over.

It was the talk of the town, and for a while, it was one of the few joys in an otherwise dark time.

Now, new sports-themed games are having a Wordle-like effect, an avenue for fans to come together and share their answers.

This game is a 9×9 grid, where players are asked to call upon their knowledge of a specific sport.

Justin Fields was recently on-screen, via the NFL on CBS, where he took a crack at this nation-sweeping game.

The first objective that Fields was tasked to complete was to name a player that has played for both the Chicago Bears and Ohio State.

Of course, this applied to him, so this was an easier task.

He was also able to quickly identify the other two Ohio State players in the challenge, giving correct answers of Chris Olave and J.K. Dobbins.

Fields sped through the remainder of the grid, only finding challenges with the 1,000-yard rusher category.

He and the Bears will be faced with a challenge of their own this season, as they’ll look to contend for the NFC North title.

Now that Aaron Rodgers is gone from the division, their window is more open now than ever.

Fields had an impressive season as a rusher in 2022, but his passing numbers left something to be desired.

Can he find the magic in year three?
