Ahead of the Vikings’ Thursday Night Football game, Taylor Rooks dove into the makings of this young superstar.

She shared a video clip on Twitter, which highlighted Jefferson’s rise to stardom.

As Rooks mentions, Jefferson was a two-star recruit coming out of high school.

He wasn’t scouted by many teams, but made his way to LSU, eventually playing with Joe Burrow.

After not playing much in his freshman year, Jefferson put together a serviceable year in 2018.

He had 54 receptions for 875 yards that season, which he turned into six touchdowns.

His junior year was when Jefferson caught fire, catching 111 balls for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns.

This attracted the attention of many teams and was eventually drafted by the Vikings in the first round.

The rest is history.

Jefferson has already achieved so much in his young career, and this is only the beginning.

He has yet to sign a contract extension with the Vikings, which has been a cause for concern for some fans.

The Vikings were in negotiations with Jefferson’s team throughout the offseason, but talks ultimately stalled when the season began.

When he does, he’s likely to be given the largest receiver contract in NFL history due to his consistency on the field.

Not bad, especially for a two-star recruit coming out of high school.

How much will Jefferson’s contract be for?
