The New York Giants have an interesting season ahead of them this year.

Two-time Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley is now a Philadelphia Eagle, which means there is going to be more pressure on quarterback Daniel Jones and Co. to find success through the air.

Host Kay Adams recently talked about how rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers is going to be super important for this New York offense moving forward.

“Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is the single-most important rookie to his team this season…He brings everything you want to the table,” Adams said on Up & Adams.

The Giants were able to grab Nabers at No. 6 overall in April’s NFL Draft after he had a fantastic college career in Baton Rouge.

The All-American ended his LSU career as the school’s all-time leading receiver (3,003), and his 1,569 receiving yards in 2023 led the FBS.

His connection with Daniel Jones, who is coming off a torn ACL in 2023, is going to be paramount for this offense.

Along with Nabers, the Giants have younger pass-catchers in Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt, as well as veterans Darius Slayton and former Pro Bowl wide receiver Allen Robinson, in the fold too.

Judging by his talents and abilities, Nabers is going to need to be the focal point for Jones, who is entering a big season.

The 27-year-old signal-caller has thrown for over 3,200 yards just once in five seasons and has just one season with a passer rating over 90.0.

If he and head coach Brian Daboll can find a way to utilize Nabers properly, the Giants could surprise some folks.
