LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers recently unfollowed a number of people on Twitter, including former NBA player and current analyst Kendrick Perkins.
Perkins wasn’t very pleased with that move by James and called him on out national TV.
Speaking on “First Take,” via NBACentral, Perkins called James “sensitive” for unfollowing him and said he wishes the Lakers star would have just picked up the phone and given him a call.

Perkins claims that James’ unfollowing was because of recent criticism about the firing of Darvin Ham, the Lakers’ head coaching search, and James’ involvement with his son’s journey through the draft.
He thinks that was all too much and James decided to silence Perkins on social media.
Perkins reminded viewers that he has known James for over 20 years and if the four-time champion had a problem, he should have called him directly to clear things up.
In the end, no one really knows why James unfollowed Perkins and others.
Perhaps he was just clearing up his social media feed or maybe he really was upset by the recent comments from Perkins.
Whatever the reason, it has obviously rubbed Perkins the wrong way.
He says that he won’t be going anywhere and will continue to broadcast his thoughts on TV.
That means that James will just have to accept what he hears from Perkins because it isn’t stopping any time soon.
It’ll be interesting to see if James makes any public comments about unfollowing Perkins.
He isn’t one to get involved in public disputes but he also has repeatedly made his feelings known on social media, sometimes in sly or vague ways.
Is this the start of a back-and-forth between Perkins and James?
