The Golden State Warriors need to do whatever they can to retain Draymond Green.
They know he’s the heart and soul of their project, their vocal leader, and the guy who’ll hold everybody accountable and bring that energy every single time.
Likewise, multiple other teams could look to make a run at him now that he’s officially a free agent for the first time in his career.
With that in mind, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins admits that he would love to see him teaming up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Perkins cites that the reason the Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets was that they didn’t have anyone who could contain Nikola Jokic.
With Green, the Lakers would have an elite defensive duo in the restricted area, and Green would provide that never-ending hustle and energy that could help the Lakers get over the top, and Davis could be more efficient and consistent.
There are obvious ties between Green and the Lakers.
James, Davis, and Green all share the same agent: Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
Also, Green has always had nothing but praise and the utmost respect and admiration for LeBron, so he could seriously consider teaming up with him, given a chance.
Even so, some believe Green is still looking forward to running it back with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Steve Kerr in the Bay Area to try and win another championship, but the Lakers usually get what they want, so we may not rule this possibility out.
