Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman should be an intriguing name to watch this year.

The second-round draft choice out of Florida State is part of almost an entirely new cast of players tasked with filling the void left by former Bills wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, who joined new teams this offseason.

The somewhat new cast of wide receivers, along with Coleman, includes veterans Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chase Claypool, and Mack Hollins.

But again, Coleman’s connection with Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen will be one to watch.

In a recent interview with CBS Sports’s Bryant McFadden, Coleman talked about how he has established his relationship with Allen and why he doesn’t want to golf with him.

“He’s pretty busy…He likes golf too…He shot like 70-something under…We can’t bond over that,” Coleman jokingly said.

As long as their relationship continues to grow, that is all that matters.

The 6-4, 215-pound Coleman was both an All-Big Ten performer at Michigan State (2022) and an All-ACC performer at Florida State (2023).

It will be up to him in a lot of big moments to make magic happen through the passing attack.

Allen had a solid connection with the likes of Diggs and Davis, who formed a great duo for years in western New York.

Now, Allen has to build up that connection once again with Coleman as time moves on and as the season gets closer.

If Coleman can tap into his true potential, the Bills may not skip a beat in 2024.
