During their time in Paris for the Olympics, many Team USA members spent their spare time seeing the sights, soaking up France, and enjoying delicious food and drinks.
Others, like Kevin Durant, did even more.
Romain Molina is reporting, via ClutchPoints, that Durant is buying a minority ownership stake in Paris Saint-Germain, France’s biggest and most successful soccer club.
That means that Durant is coming back to the US as a gold medalist and the co-owner of a sports team.

Durant has publicly said that he greatly enjoyed his time in Paris for the Olympics and this acquisition means that he will be back in France soon.
He isn’t the only NBA star who has put his money into ownership of a team.
For many sports stars, this sort of deal is a way to stay involved in athletics, especially after retirement.
Durant probably just played in his last Olympics and he could be leaving the league in the next few years as he approaches 40 years old.
That means he will have more time to spend on other endeavors and business ventures, such as owning sports teams.
Will this be the last squad he puts his money into or is Durant just getting started?
Durant is coming back home as a happy star who did amazing things for Team USA.
He made history as the team’s all-time top scorer and earned his fourth gold medal.
Even if he never returns to the Olympics, his place in history is secure.
Durant’s journey to France resulted in Olympic records, a gold medal, and co-ownership of a team.
In other words, he has had a very good summer.
