Kevin Durant Addresses Rumors About How Tall He Is

For years, Kevin Durant’s true height has been one of the biggest mysteries in the NBA.

For whatever reason, Durant has always claimed to be shorter than he is.

Every single time he suits up for Team USA and is portrayed alongside seven-footers and big men, it’s pretty obvious that they’re the same height.

It happened years ago when he was pictured alongside DeMarcus Cousins and DeAndre Jordan, and it happened again, this time when he stood next to Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, and Bam Adebayo.

That’s why, in a recent appearance on Kay Adams’ Up & Adams Show, she urged him to actually tell her the truth about his height.

“I’m 6’9″ so those guys must be shorter than what they say… Embiid’s not 7 feet.” @KDTrey5 @heykayadams https://t.co/rN61YQMrdK pic.twitter.com/XcpyBELwbC

However, instead of stating that he’s actually a seven-footer, he claimed that all players must be shorter than actually listed, adding that Embiid is definitely not seven feet tall.

Crazy enough, some people might lie about their height to make themselves look taller, not the other way, and this might be one of those mysteries that will never be truly solved.

If anything, being seven feet tall only makes every single thing Durant does all the more impressive.

He’s the ultimate cheat code, a guy who’s got the size of a big man and the shooting skills and handles of a guard.

Also, his length allows him to cover a lot of ground on defense and even serve as a de facto rim protector.

One thing’s for sure, though.

Regardless of his height, he’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of basketball player.
