The Golden State Warriors put together something special last decade, but it could’ve been even better.
Adding Kevin Durant to a team that was fresh off winning 73 games in the regular season turned them into villains.
But the Warriors didn’t seem to mind this label as long as they were winning.
That was the Warriors’ mindset before an on-court altercation between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green paved the way for the end of that run.
Fast forward to today, four years later, and it’s more than clear that it’s all water under the bridge between the two future Hall of Famers, who were spotted together at Team USA’s game vs. Puerto Rico on Monday night.

Durant and Green have both found plenty of success representing their national team, so it was only natural to see them showing their support and looking to make a name for themselves as well.
Notably, Green and Durant have both talked about their altercation multiple times, and they admitted it pretty much sealed Durant’s exit from the Bay area.
Even so, they won back-to-back NBA championships during their time together, and they had one of the most dominant teams in the history of this game.
Some NBA fans will never respect Durant for joining the team that beat him the prior season, and others will never like the Warriors again for that same reason.
But at the end of the day, no one can take those rings away from them.
