Kevin Durant Calls Out NBA Fans Falling For False Reports

The Phoenix Suns haven’t quite looked like the contender most expected them to be during the 2023-24 NBA season.

The Suns have a 43-31 record and are currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference, meaning they will be in the Play-In Tournament if they don’t move up in the standings.

Health has been an issue for Phoenix as their “Big 3” of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal have struggled to stay on the floor.

Durant, though, remains one of the best players in the league as he is nearly unguardable when he gets to his spots on the floor.

In a playoff series, any team will have trouble trying to contain Durant, who historically plays better when the stakes are at their highest.

In the meantime, Durant had no problem calling out a fan for believing a report about his love life, via his personal Twitter account.

“I won’t call yall that one word, ima just say a lot of yall who believe nba centel is real just lack the mental capacity,” Durant tweeted.

NBA Centel is a fake Twitter account based off of NBA Central and Durant was clearly bothered by fans calling him out over false reporting.

This isn’t the first time that Durant has taken to social media to scold fans as he’s been more than happy to call out people for inaccurate or outright outlandish takes.

Durant’s drawn some criticism for his social media usage in the past, though this time around it feels warranted given what was said about him and his private life.
