Kevin Durant just won another Olympic gold medal and has claimed MVP and two championships at home in the NBA too.
He has done so much and is now 35 years old, so is retirement looming closer?
According to an interview with TV One, per Duane Rankin, Durant admitted that retirement is approaching.
“As I get older in the league and the league is getting younger, I tend to think about retirement more,” Durant said in the interview, hinting at the time when he will hang up his jersey for good.

Durant is still a fantastic player and averaged 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game last season.
He is still shooting 52.3% from the field and 41.3% from the three-point line and is the most important player for his Phoenix Suns.
But like all NBA stars, he has to think about his future and consider how long he wants to play in the league.
Durant said he has many outside interests that keep him busy and would love to spend more time with family and friends.
However, he also revealed that he’s not sure what the future holds and that is what he has to figure out.
He knows that retiring would be a huge change in his life and take a major adjustment period.
No matter when Durant retires, his mark on the league will be undeniable.
After 16 years, four scoring championships, 14 All-Star appearances, two Finals MVPs, and a place on the 75th Anniversary Team, Durant is easily one of the best players ever.
The good news is that Durant isn’t retiring yet but there is no doubt that his time in the league is slowly approaching its end.
