The Phoenix Suns put together one of the most talented offensive duos in recent NBA history.
Devin Booker has climbed the ladder as one of the most efficient and versatile scorers in the league, so pairing him with Kevin Durant gave them a nearly-unstoppable duo.
So, following Booker’s offensive explosion to close out the Los Angeles Clippers at home, his veteran teammate had nothing but praise for him as a player and as a person.
“He’s a special, special human being, special player. I’m just grateful I get a chance to play with him.”

Ever since KD arrived in the desert, people have talked about the Suns as Durant’s team, with even all TV and promo ads featuring him instead of Booker.
But the Suns have been Devin Booker’s team for the past couple of teams now, and he did manage to lead them to the NBA Finals just two seasons ago.
Of course, Durant is already an NBA champion, a bonafide player, and a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, so it’s only natural to think of him as the clear No. 1 guy on this team.
However, KD has never hesitated to take a backseat and let Booker run the show when he’s hot, and the two have been perfectly able to coexist through their brief tenure together.
The Suns will now face the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals, and should be heavily favored again despite going against the No. 1 seed in the West.
Hopefully, we’ll get to watch those two wreak havoc together in a seven-game series, as the Nuggets should be a tougher rival to beat.
