Kevin Durant is one of the most unique players in NBA history.
We had never seen a seven-footer with his handles, and his ability to pull up from all three levels, score from all over the court, finish with either hand and shoot over everybody else.
Durant is a shooting guard trapped in a big man’s body, and with the league trending toward unicorns and big players who can shoot, it’s only normal to see the youngsters trying to learn from him.
With that in mind, it’s nice to see Durant sharing his knowledge with the next generation, as he was spotted working out with Chet Holmgren and Bol Bol (via Bleacher Report).

Durant knows that he’s inching closer to the final stretch of his career, and he’s embraced his role as a veteran passing the torch to the next generation, even lauding Anthony Edwards for going at him and talking trash in the playoffs.
Holmgren could add plenty of Durant’s moves to his own repertoire, as he’s also got some handles and has the ability to shoot over every defender in the league.
As for Bol, NBA players have always raved about his talent and believe he could put up big numbers given the opportunity, but there have been conflicting reports about his maturity and work ethic — or lack thereof.
Whatever the case, there’s not a player on Earth that wouldn’t benefit from working out with Durant, and let’s hope they can soak in as much information as possible from these sessions.
